Since Monday s my day off, I decided to sleep in then make myself and indulgent breakfast:
local pork sausage with Parmesan egg mash, greens, and marbled rye toast with butter. #yumm
New World wine dinner for one:
mixed greens with dried currants, walnuts, olive oil, and balsamic vinegar, with a rosé from Washington.
grass-fed filet with pinotage pan sauce, with a pinotage from South Africa.
Dinner for one.
Pork loin with rosemary over quinoa with garlic and bacon fat.
Kale Salad with Apples and Basil Pesto Anchovy Bacon Fat Dressing. Meatloaf from The Whole Ox. Sawtooth Late Harvest Riesling.
New salad at the restaurant: mixed greens with local watermelon, local cantaloupe, parmesan cheese, and melon vinaigrette. Pretty refreshing for summer.
and for dessert: chocolate frozen yogurt topped with a Napa port
